π elevata v0.9.1 β Lineage Clarity & Serving Semantics
This release refines and completes the foundations introduced with Bizcore in v0.9.0.
While v0.9.0 established business semantics as first-class metadata, v0.9.1 focuses on
clarity, correctness, and presentation readiness across lineage, validation, and Serving.
β¨ Highlights
Clearer Lineage Semantics
- Multi-hop upstream and downstream lineage with explicit scope control
- Clear distinction between direct inputs and extended execution dependencies
- Consistent lineage ordering for better mental models and navigation
Serving Layer = Presentation Logic
- Serving datasets now fully embrace their role as presentation-facing objects
- Friendly, human-readable dataset and column identifiers are supported directly
- No separate display-name abstraction: identifiers are rendered correctly via dialect-aware quoting
Stronger Metadata Validation
- Improved health checks separating blocking execution issues from advisory quality findings
- Validation logic aligned across Raw, Bizcore, and Serving layers
- Better feedback for governance and review workflows
Positioning
With v0.9.1, elevata sharpens its layered model:
- Bizcore: implementation of business logic as executable metadata
- Serving: controlled presentation of Bizcore objects for consumption layers
- Lineage: a first-class, inspectable execution graph across all layers
This release is a step toward v1.0 by strengthening governance, validation, and semantic clarity
without introducing new abstractions or query-time logic.
v0.9.1 builds confidence in the model β not by adding features, but by making intent explicit.
