Dial for temperature of white ambiance GU10 not working on Stream Deck Plus #44

I link the temperature for the bulbs to one of the dials. When I turn the dial the temperature of the lamp does not change. The value of the LCD strip changes but after a few seconds it changes back to the original value.
When I change the temperature with buttons the temperature does change on the LCD strip. I have one button for 0% and one for 100%. When I press the 100% button the lamp changes almost immediately and the dial also shows 100. When I press the 0% button the lamp changes almost immediately but the dial shows 60.
When I change the brightness with the dial it works but it takes 5-10 seconds for the lights to respond. Here the LCD strip does show 0-100% correctly.

@dvanderzon which light do you use? A Philips Hue light or some 3rd-party?
Du you mean a lightstrip or a GU10 spot? (lightstrips don't have GU10 sockets)...

If you can provide some more info on your light(s) and the hue bridge/system, I'll look into it

@dvanderzon great - thanks for the info! I ordered a couple of these lights and will look into it when they arrive...

@dvanderzon I added support for white ambience lights here on GitHub

https://github.com/elgatosf/streamdeck-philipshue/releases

If you find some time, please let me know if that works for you...

High Andy,

I am working with the Stream Deck plus.
Below are my findings, I hope this helps.

Dials:
When I dial stack all 4 lights individually I can control the brightness and temperature of each lamp individually and that works fast.
The same with no dial stacking. It works just fine

When I try to control brightness of a Hue Group with a dial it works but very slowly, It can take up to 10 seconds to change brightness.
When I try to control temperature of a Hue Group with a dial nothing happens. On the LCD strip above the dial it does not even show the number indicating the current value.

Buttons:
When I try to control relative brightness of a Hue Group with a button it works very fast, no problems here.
When I try to control absolute brightness of a Hue Group with a button it works very fast, no problems here.

When I try to control temperature of a Hue Group with a button nothing happens. This is different from the version 1.6.3
When I try to cycle through the colors of a Hue Group with a button It works just fine.

My Hue Group contains 2 GU10 White Ambiance lights.

Hi @dvanderzon
thanks for your report - much appreciated!
Just to make sure: for the time being I just added support for single 'lights' (no groups, scenes, dialstacks... yet - as I have to dig through the code and see how that was supposed to work). I will come to groups, etc.. as soon as there's some time (hopefully pretty soon).

I'm seeing the same behavior with the dials as @dvanderzon above on the latest version of the plugin from the store (1.6.3). Groups and zones are basically not usable, I need to control each bulb individually (which is problematic for fixtures, like ceiling fans, with more than one Hue bulb in them).

Same problem here with 1.6.4. I can't control zones or groups in a temperature dial.

Temperature doesn't seem to work at all and brightness is delayed by so much it's unusable.
