English
Shared CAT compatibility
- The shared CAT response to
get_lock_modenow includes the HamlibRPRT 0
terminator, so Decodium, rigctld and other clients do not wait for an incomplete
response. - Unknown CAT requests receive a closing response before disconnecting, making bridge
behavior more predictable. - CW speed (
KEYSPD) is now read both from the plain numeric format and from the
labelled decimal formatLevel Value: 24.000000emitted by some rigctld bridges.
CW over CAT and serial fallback
- The keyer message now accurately documents
send_morsesupport through shared CAT
when the master server permits transmission. - Direct DTR/RTS keying remains available for radios or configurations without a CAT
CW keyer.
Verification
- Added tests for
get_lock_mode, labelled KEYSPD replies, and speed reading through
a shared CAT connection. - The complete local suite and release gate must pass before publishing the
cross-platform assets.

1.17.41 — Elenchi nominativi e club
History, con riconoscimento del formato, anteprima e associazione delle colonne. - Supporto a virgolette, separatori virgola/punto e virgola/tab, UTF-8 e Latin-1;
commenti e righe informative vengono ignorati.
- Indicizzazione su worker, copie offline persistenti e conservazione dell'ultima
copia valida se un nuovo import fallisce. - Test aggiunti per file CSV vari, codifiche, virgolette, appartenenze multiple,
conflitti, riavvio, file invalidi, elenchi grandi e viste QML.
1.17.41 — Cluster, LoTW e CW
LoTW e nelle viste compatte o contest.
consentire nuove macro. - Ridotti i comandi CAT duplicati sui sistemi Yaesu con PTT via CAT, con fallback
di emergenza per connessioni lente o interrotte. - Aggiunti test per clic ripetuti, risposte tardive, fallback, errori transitori e
macro successive.
mainin movimento.
English
1.17.41 — Callsign and club lists
- New Settings → Callsign lists page, available outside Contest Mode.
- Import multiple local CSV/TXT lists and N1MM Call History files, with format
detection, preview and column mapping. - Supports quoted fields, comma/semicolon/tab separators, UTF-8 and Latin-1;
comments and informational rows are ignored. - Enable, disable, reload and remove each list; configuration survives restart.
- The Callsign Information panel displays every source membership and import date
without changing QSOs, callbook data, contest exchanges or award counts. - Worker-thread indexing, persistent offline copies and last-known-good cache when
a reload fails. - Added tests for separators, encodings, quoting, multiple memberships, conflicts,
restart, invalid files, large lists and QML views.
1.17.41 — Cluster, LoTW and CW
- Added a green L badge beside LoTW callsigns in the cluster, including compact
and contest views and without enabling the LoTW-only filter. - The tooltip distinguishes LoTW activity from QSO confirmation.
- Repeated CW Stop presses are coalesced into one request; the queue is cleared,
PTT is released and new macros wait for CAT completion. - Reduced duplicate CAT commands on Yaesu systems using CAT PTT, while retaining an
emergency fallback for slow or disconnected links. - Added regression tests for repeated clicks, delayed replies, fallback, transient
errors and subsequent macros.
1.17.40 — DecoPort for HamHub
- DecoDXLog now exposes its log to HamHub through the local DecoPort protocol, with
automatic registration, QSO acknowledgements, bounded retries and activity log
entries. - Packets use HMAC-SHA256 authentication and the session is restricted to
127.0.0.1.
1.17.39 — Yaesu CW and QSL
- Restored CAT CW for Yaesu radios, including the FTDX-3000, with correct CW text,
stop handling and keyer-memory behavior. - Automatic LoTW and eQSL uploads now use a sequential queue: eQSL starts after
LoTW finishes, including when LoTW returns an error.
1.17.38 — CAT CW
- Re-enabled CAT CW for Yaesu radios connected directly to rigctld.
- Fixed single characters, long macros and transmission stopping.
- The Windows runner now builds the requested release tag instead of moving
main.
DecoDXLog v1.17.38
DecoDXLog 1.17.38

Aggiornamenti dalla 1.17.37 alla 1.17.38.
CW via CAT Yaesu
?,K,1e5: vengono inoltrati come
impostati su OFF. Selezionare PTT Il CAT stesso (RIG).
The remote host closed the connectionrichiede una diagnosi separata di rigctld/seriale.
English
Changes from 1.17.37 to 1.17.38.
Yaesu CAT CW
- Removed the preventive block that stopped CW macros and text from reaching Yaesu radios
connected directly through DecoDXLog's managed rigctld, including the FTDX-3000. - The panel now displays a non-blocking warning: Hamlib may overwrite keyer memory 1 with
the transmitted text, and its previous contents are not restored. Back up that memory
before using this feature. - Fixed single-character messages such as
?,K,1, and5: they are forwarded as
literal CW text instead of being rejected or interpreted as memory recall commands. - Yaesu macros longer than 50 characters are split into queued chunks, preferring word
boundaries. Each chunk waits for the estimated Morse duration of the previous one,
preventing Hamlib from silently truncating the message at the memory limit. - Serial DTR/RTS keyers and WinKeyer retain priority. The warning follows the actual CW
route and is not automatically applied to an alternate SO2R radio or an external rigctld
whose radio model is unknown. - Stop retains local queue cancellation, PTT release, and the CAT receive request for
configured local Yaesu connections. Physical keyer interruption still depends on the
radio and its Hamlib backend. - Updated Italian and English warning text; shared implementation across Windows, macOS,
and Linux.
FTDX-3000 setup
To use the internal CAT keyer route, close Decodium and select in Settings → Radio (CAT):
serial connection, model 1037 / Yaesu FTDX-3000, the correct CAT port (COM5 in the reported
case), 38400 baud, 8 data bits, 2 stop bits, parity None. With handshake None, set
CAT RTS = DISABLE on the radio; DTR and RTS can be set to OFF. Select CAT itself
(RIG) for PTT.
Set the serial keyer port to “none”, not COM8: an open serial keyer takes precedence
over CAT. Use CW/CWR with BK-IN enabled; verify 026 CW MEMORY 1 = TEXT, after backing up
its contents. Start with a short VVV from the CW panel's text field, at low power into a
dummy load.
Tests and distribution
- Added regressions for Yaesu CW enablement, SO2R/network routing, single characters,
long-message splitting, and cancellation of queued messages with Stop. - Local macOS validation: successful build, 76/76 tests passed, documentation/version
checks, and successful startup/shutdown smoke test with isolated settings and database. - The Windows workflow now checks out the requested tag rather than
main, matching the
source provenance of macOS and Linux packages. The MSYS2/MinGW installer procedure is retained. - Target packages: Apple Silicon and Intel macOS DMGs, Windows x64 installer, Linux x86_64
and aarch64 AppImages, with signed automatic-update manifests for the elisir80 fork. - Runners execute the test gate and final-package smoke test before upload. Windows retains
the existingudppipelinetest exclusion; other tests remain enabled. - Software tests do not replace an RF check on the actual FTDX-3000. Errors such as
The remote host closed the connectionneed a separate rigctld/serial diagnosis. - DMG app bundles retain ad-hoc signing and are not Apple-notarized. Automatic-update
signatures are separate from Apple Developer ID / Windows Authenticode certificates.

validated; core or DecoDXLog-managed fields cannot be overwritten. Values are kept in
adif_extraand preserved in ADIF export. -
Faster entry: the default TX power comes from the active station profile, the sent report
is initialized automatically, andAlt+Wclears the New QSO form. -
Cluster credentials: an unset password no longer triggers an unnecessary keychain prompt.
The UI distinguishes a missing password, a read error, and an in-progress save; a successful
save restarts the connection automatically. -
Connection diagnostics: node checks explain that the
login:prompt is intentionally
checked without authenticating the user. -
Cross-platform tests: added core, cluster, diagnostics, and QML tests for the new behavior.

DecoDXLog 1.17.31 — Release notes / Note di rilascio
English
Changes since 1.17.29
1.17.30
- Cloud synchronization now shows progress while the log is uploaded.
- The progress bar and percentage remain consistent when new QSOs are added during a sync.
- Cloud UI and diagnostics now report the upload state more clearly.
1.17.31
- Added Hamlib CAT polling and forwarding for
ALC. - Added the extended CAT response format expected by Decodium:
get_level: ALC,Level Value,
andRPRT 0. - Declared ALC, SWR, and forward-power meter capabilities in the shared CAT state.
- Shared CAT now exposes SWR and RF power in watts when the selected radio/driver provides them.
- Added CAT power-state and tuner controls: power on/off and ATU on/off.
- Control permissions are enforced: power/tuner changes require CAT control; enabling the tuner
also requires transmit permission because it may key the radio. - Unsupported capabilities return standard Hamlib
RPRT -11instead of fabricated values. - Added focused CAT/Rig tests for ALC, meter forwarding, power state, and tuner commands.
ALC remains radio- and driver-dependent and is normally meaningful only while transmitting.

Modifiche dalla 1.17.29
1.17.30
RPRT -11Hamlib, senza inventare valori.
