  • The Stop question names the lessons the session touched (okl review R4, first slice).
It asked once, generically, whether the session learned anything, and told the agent
how to update or retire a lesson but never which ones to look at, so lessons were added
and almost never corrected. A new okl recap --transcript <path> lists up to five
lessons the session was briefed on most often, read from the prompt hook's context in a
Claude Code transcript, and up to five whose governed files the session changed
(uncommitted, or committed since it began), with the command for each case: retire,
update, re-verify, or say it was irrelevant. The agent proposes a change in one line and
makes it once the person agrees. The Stop hook adds it to its question; with an okl too
old to have recap, or a transcript it cannot read, the question is as before. It reads
a 200 MB transcript in under a second.
