okl 0.8.7
-
A new repo's pushes get a note, not an error (#204). Until a lesson governs a file,
the drift gate has nothing to check, and the pre-push hook printed "NOTHING CHECKED" and
"DRIFT NOT CHECKED" on every push, which read like a failure. It now says there is nothing
to gate yet and how to start. A missing or unreadable store still gets the loud warning,
andokl drift --gateand CI are unchanged. Re-runokl initto refresh the hook. -
okl initnames all six MCP tools. It said the server offers okl_check, okl_record
and okl_search; since 0.8.3 it also has okl_get, okl_update and okl_retire. Found by a
fresh install of 0.8.6 from PyPI. -
The README leads with what okl is. Its first screen says "Guardrails and a learning
loop for AI coding agents" and shows the one-page overview, which sat under "How it
works", about 370 lines down.
