New: vmforai repo NAME OWNER/REPO builds and tests someone's GitHub repository on the VM, not on your computer. It clones it into ~/repos, finds the build system (CMake, Meson, Cargo, Go, npm, Python, PlatformIO, make, autotools), installs what's missing, builds it, runs the tests and gives you a short summary. The full log is kept in ~/.config/vmforai/repos/. Options: --sanitize (ASan/UBSan for C and C++), --build-only, --test-cmd, --json, and --fork (forks with gh here and adds a "fork" remote; nothing gets pushed). vmforai repos NAME lists the clones with their last results. In the UI it's the G key.

• Desktop: on Arch the screen stayed black ("Unable to contact settings server"). The desktop now uses the session bus systemd runs for the user.
• Desktop: claude, codex, gemini, opencode and aider run from the desktop's terminals (their folders are on its PATH).

A VM with the desktop of 0.26.0 gets this with vmforai tools NAME desktop again; it applies the next time the VM starts.

• A desktop for VMs. vmforai tools NAME desktop (or create NAME --template desktop) installs XFCE and Firefox on a Linux VM and runs the desktop on VNC display :1, which only the VM itself can reach. It starts with the VM, and the agents there get DISPLAY=:1, so they can open GUI apps and browsers.
• vmforai view NAME shows that screen here, over SSH: in remote-viewer or vncviewer, or without one in your browser (noVNC). In the UI: v.
