  • --root <path> flag — scaffold and operate in a subdirectory (e.g. /hacky-hours ideate --root meta/ to dogfood the framework within its own repo)
  • Generated project CLAUDE.md — scaffolded with state machine instructions: auto-check GitHub Issues at session start, remove completed items from BACKLOG.md, add to CHANGELOG.md, close linked issues, prompt release when milestone is done
  • GitHub Action template — runbooks/templates/hacky-hours-sync.yml: copy-paste workflow that calls Claude API on PR merge to auto-update BACKLOG.md and CHANGELOG.md
  • runbooks/github-action-sync.md — setup guide for the Action template (cost, matching logic, troubleshooting)
