Ideally this would be possible:

pip install enaBrowserTools

It's not as hard as it seems: http://marthall.github.io/blog/how-to-package-a-python-app/

Just a note that this request hasn't been ignored, we've just had to prioritise requests. This is on the list though.

Any update on a pip installation? Or conda? Something that makes it easy to install would be handy.

It's on it's way. Sorry, an international move slowed down delivery of the latest list of requirements. Look for an update by the end of Sept.
Due to the planned retirement of python 2 at the end of 2019, pip installation will probably only come for the python 3 version. This also simplifies the decisions of how to do it.

Thanks @nicsilvester this will substantially simplify the bioconda recipe.
