What's new in 1.2.1

• Black Market (Adapted mode): gear costs more the higher its level and rarity, most of it is near the level of the character you played last, and no white gear is sold. Every time you press Play it also sells upgrade materials (Onyx, Chaos Onyx, Crystal Fragments, Gem Dust, Fusion Stones), gemstones and potions
• Bosses call their adds and next phases again: Gigantica's tail summons her head, Zakum his arms, Big Bobo his riders, and about 100 more. Adds leave when their boss dies, and 29 bosses (Papulatus, Devilin Warrior, Paika and Baphomet among them) use their timed attacks
• Monsters: about 840 monsters use all their skills instead of only the first, 1,843 monster slots in 61 maps refill again, passive monsters fight back when you hit them, and groups on rooftops and floating platforms spread out
• Iron Shield works: while you hold it, it takes 25% to 80% off the damage you take, as its tooltip says; so do Iron Defense, Guardian's Wings and Mesoguard
• World clock: in-game time runs while you play (a day is about 17 minutes, seasons last 15 days); /time shows it
• Unified content: weapons, armour and accessories join the cosmetics of 1.2.0
• Problem reports go to the developer automatically after a session with a problem; the first start shows a one-time notice where you can choose Ask me each time instead. Your names, chat and save are never sent

Fixed from your reports

• Pocket realms (Karkar's mini-games, the Hat of Misdirection rooms) no longer freeze on the loading screen, and their exit portal works
• Moonlight Fortress can be cleared: the Pirate Cannons fire and the ship sails. Usable NPCs such as cannons work in the other maps that have them too
• Attacks whose area starts ahead of the attacker land in front of it whichever way it faces (608 skills, monsters' and players')
• The Challenge Map's Queen Bean Rumble button takes you to Queen's Parlor, so the Royal Rumble quests go on
• Arrow Storm, Smiting Aura and the other area skills show their damage and the enemy's health bar again
• Quests: follow-up quests start by themselves again, carried quest items stay where you put them down, quest drops such as Arwen's Glass Slippers drop again, and /unstuck in a solo quest map starts it again
• Trophies count again (old saves catch up at login), and guild check-in gives EXP
• Gigantica's fight ends when she dies, Infernog's ship can be cleared, and map scripts pick their random branches fairly
• Updating from 1.2.0 keeps the unified content

Known issues

• Boss phase changes that wait for a boss's battle end or death can still come early or not at all
• No day and night lighting yet, and debuffs that raise the damage you take (Frozen, Defense Down) do not apply yet
• A lost Queen Bean Rumble round shows no result window: use Leave Dungeon

• Reverse Fair Fight (Adapted mode): alone against a raid or field boss, your hits never fall below a floor that lets a modest character finish a raid boss in about 10 minutes; gear still matters. Off with FairFight=false
• Boss fights play out: a boss's health holds at each phase until its next phase starts, map scripts see the real boss health (adds, doors and next phases come), raids spawn their raid boss, Dark Stream rounds have their monsters again, and the Colosseum (Queen Bean Arena) can be played
• Meret from monsters (Adapted mode): monsters drop Meret by their level, and bosses always drop up to 1,000 with a chance of more. Picking it up adds it to your Meret
• Meret Market: every item shows and costs its normal price (items without one cost the price of their rarity, 300 to 5,000 Meret), missing item names and descriptions are back, and the Design Templates and Furniture tabs appear
• Chaos Onyx: dismantling Epic or better gear always gives Chaos Onyx Crystals, and in Adapted mode every boss drops 1-10. (Navigator) gear can be dismantled
• Class drops: with ClassDropsOnly, monsters and dungeon rewards drop only weapons made for your class
• Offline Black Market (Adapted mode): every start lists 60 level 50-70 weapons, armor and accessories for sale
• Quests: alliance-board quests can be accepted, quests that map scripts start or complete work, and dungeon clears count for the "clear with a rank" quests
• Dungeon Directory (Adapted mode): the daily and weekly clear limits show 9999 instead of 15 and 30
• New cosmetics from the Korean client (outfits, faces and other look items). Turn them off with UnifiedContent=false; your Steam files are never changed for good
• Save profiles: "New game..." starts a fresh save next to your main one
• Launcher: its windows no longer stay in front of other programs, and the start-up window can be dragged
• Problem reports (opt-in): after a session with a problem the launcher can send a report, only when you say yes or tick the box; it shows what a report contains first, and your names, chat and save are never sent
• Safer saves: a session without the cosmetics keeps their items, furniture and mail for when they are back, and a full inventory refuses an item instead of losing it

• New Choose how to play window every time you start: Legacy Mode (the original game rules) or Offline Adapted Mode (the solo-friendly adaptations from earlier versions). Your last choice is preselected. Legacy Mode keeps Meret pouches, the full Meret Market, mail that never expires and the chat commands
• Meret Market reorganized: capsules are under Featured, and there are new Design Templates and Furniture tabs
• New /give <item name> [count] chat command. /item and /find no longer need admin rights, and /item gives gear its normal rarity and base stats
• Your character is saved when you disconnect and every 5 minutes while you play
• Shops, enchanting, boxes and the black market check an action before taking your items or currency

• Fixed: a quest NPC could be missing after a crash or relog, leaving the quest chain stuck. Some quest NPCs only appear through a map's cutscene script, and the script placed nobody once a quest was turned in but the next one not accepted yet (for example Goho in Noxious Grotto after Missing Person's Person). The NPC now shows up after a few seconds when one of your quests needs them
• Outfit presets no longer show "you don't have this item" for every piece you are already wearing

• Fixed: weapons and armor with no stats (1 damage). The EpicGear option in 1.1.5 made gear Epic even when the item has no Epic version, such as every class's starter weapon, so it came out with no attack or defense. That option is gone, and broken gear is repaired automatically when you log in. It goes back to the rarity it was made for, with its stats
• Dungeon drops are now at least Epic instead (new option DungeonEpicGear, on by default): weapons, armor and accessories from monsters, chests and clear rewards inside dungeons are Epic or better when the item exists at Epic. Gear outside dungeons, shop gear and starter weapons keep their normal rarity
• Raid gear stays Epic, Legendary or Ascendant (the 1.1.5 fix)

• Fixed: raid gear always came out Normal (white). Weapons, armor and accessories from raid treasure boxes are Epic, Legendary or Ascendant again, as in the original game
• Treasure chests are back in the fields. A wooden chest appears on about 190 maps every 5 minutes, plus shadow chests in the Shadow World. Opening one gives experience, and golden chests give a one-time bonus
• Pet taming is reachable (new option PetTaming, on by default): Dryad Pet Candy and pet snares can be bought and used from level 10, wild pets show up three times as often, and 10 candies on one pet capture it. Captured pets are Epic half the time
• New option EpicGear (on by default): every new weapon, armor piece and accessory is at least Epic, from monsters, boxes, dungeon rewards, quests and shops. Outfits, pets and gear you already have are not changed
• With GrindRates on, chests also give upgrade materials, enchant scrolls for your level, bonus re-rollers and socket scrolls. Golden and shadow chests give three times as much

• Fixed: entering a dungeon or changing map could lose the connection and leave the game stuck; closing it then showed "The save was not confirmed"
• If the game closes or crashes while changing map, the launcher confirms your save right away instead of reporting a problem
• Cusp of Life (Pathos dungeon) and other "protect the object" maps no longer fail the moment the first wave starts (also Watchtower Rampart, Dais Maze, Biome Test Site, Zekeben Road, Twinkling Path, Time Machine Chamber)

NPC shops, the beauty salon and the Meret Market show prices as free; furniture, home plots, Premium Club and inventory/storage/skill tab expansions are free too. Buyback, player listings and services (taxi, revive, enchanting) still cost the normal price
• Monsters that keep their distance really back off now instead of freezing, and monsters that cannot reach you no longer flood the problem report with path errors
