There are several ways to get Temme, depending on how you want to use it.
Temme is published on npm as temmejs:
# Using pnpm
pnpm add temmejs
# Using npm
npm install temmejs
# Using yarn
yarn add temmejsIt is also published to GitHub Packages as @eoussama/temmejs. To install it from there, point the @eoussama scope at GitHub's registry in your .npmrc, with a token that can read packages:
@eoussama:registry=https://npm.pkg.github.com
//npm.pkg.github.com/:_authToken=${GITHUB_TOKEN}pnpm add @eoussama/temmejsEvery release ships the following builds in dist/:
| File | Format | Use it for |
|---|---|---|
dist/temme.mjs |
ES module | Bundlers and Node.js import (with temme.d.mts types) |
dist/temme.cjs |
CommonJS | Node.js require (with temme.d.cts types) |
dist/temme.browser.mjs |
ES module (min) |
<script type="module"> from a CDN, with no dependencies |
dist/temme.umd.js |
UMD (min) | AMD, CommonJS or the Temme global; the CDN default |
dist/temme.iife.js |
IIFE (min) | A classic <script> tag exposing the Temme global |
Package managers and bundlers pick the right one automatically through the package's exports.
Temme can be loaded straight from a CDN such as jsDelivr or unpkg:
<!-- Exposes the `Temme` global. -->
<script src="https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/temmejs/dist/temme.iife.js"></script><script type="module">
import { parse } from "https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/temmejs/dist/temme.browser.mjs";
</script>Pin a version in production, e.g. https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/npm/temmejs@1.0.8/dist/temme.iife.js.
The builds are attached to the npm package; the GitHub releases list every version:
