Zimi v1.9.3
Added
- Captures keep a site's light and dark faces, and open the one matching your theme.
- Captures made with the alive and zimit engines now carry their page list, source URL, pictures and creation record — in standard fields, so other readers benefit too.
- Sort the library alphabetically, by date added, by date updated or by article count (#67).
- Controls that cannot change say why: update frequency when the environment sets it (#69), BitTorrent when libtorrent is missing (#70).
- Random article works on a captured site, which also restores its Discover card.
Fixed
- JavaScript sites work from a ZIM — draculatheme.com's theme switch and colour tabs included (#64).
- Darken articles works on every ZIM, in both directions (#65).
- PDFs open in the reader again (#71). Reported by Joe (WB3IHY).
- "Made here" in Manage → Creator finishes loading.
- A capture's before-and-after pictures compare the right two things.
- Cancelling a capture stops the browser it started.
- A filename with spaces no longer ends a capture.
- The engine suggested for a JavaScript app is one that can capture it, and the preview says what kind of page it found.
- Alive and zimit captures keep their two pictures.
- One captured site no longer spoils search suggestions across the whole library.
- Create starts the job you asked for even if you never leave the address field, and empties the form when it finishes.
- Places on unusual clocks show their time — Eucla, the Chathams, the Marquesas.
- The step rail on a running capture, and the Discover strip, stop drawing stray lines.
Faster
- Discover no longer holds up the rest of the app while it fills.
- Manage → Creator opens at once instead of after several seconds.
- Background jobs stopped undoing each other's work, which had the disk measuring the same files over and over.
- The picture of the page being captured appears within seconds, on every engine.
