As a Computer Science and Engineering student graduating in June 2024, I've developed a deep-seated passion for data and its potential to unlock understanding about our world. In a life increasingly lived digitally, we continuously generate data, forming a multi-faceted trail of information. This hidden stream, or 'digital leakage,' can be harnessed through data acquisition, machine learning, and big data analytics. Through these techniques, including data mining and data modeling, we can uncover profound insights from the patterns within our unintentional data creation. My ambition is to employ my knowledge in data science and engineering to extract the unseen narrative within our digital footprint, further illustrating the power of data as the lifeblood of our digital existence.
