SubRead 0.4.0
New: videos + subtitles which can be played with any video player or uploaded to YouTube.
After a job, Save video + .srt writes name.mp4 (the cover of the book over the audio) and name.srt into a folder you pick. Video players load the subtitles by themselves.
- Pick the size (720p, 1080p, and more where the device has an encoder) and 1 to 60 frames a second.
- The picture is still, so the video track is very small: about 60 MB for a 10-hour book at 720p. More frames a second add almost nothing.
- AAC audio (m4b, m4a) is copied as it is. MP3 and other audio is encoded to AAC once.
Tested on a Viwoods AiPaper Reader (Android 16): the file decodes with the platform decoder and with ffmpeg.
