788 Report Timing #104
|
This is a general question around the timing on WHEN data is available in a given report. Specifically, the np6-788-cd report. Around August 11, 2025 8:55:19.673 AM we downloaded the latest data from the np6-788-cd report. This resulted in data sets ONLY up to 2025-08-11T08:50:10. This appears to us to mean that it takes up to 5+ minutes for the SCED results to be available on the 788 report. A subset of the report (the major hubs and load zones) appear to have the data available within 1-2 minutes here: https://www.ercot.com/content/cdr/html/hb_lz.html. Where should we be looking to get the latest SCED results as early as possible? |

@ewx-mjanda, in the current design there is approximately 5-10 minute delay from when the report is posted on ercot.com to when it is available via UI and API in the Public Data Portal. We have a project in flight to make the data show up very close to when we publish it on ercot.com. Until that is implemented, your best bet is to download the report zip from https://www.ercot.com/mp/data-products/data-product-details?id=np6-788-rtcmt. |

Thank you will use that report. Incidentally, I believe the correct data product for file based download is found here: |
