Clockin for Mac 2.0.9
Clockin 2.0.9
- The font is now a setting of its own: System, Rounded, Serif or Monospaced, in Settings > General next to Theme. Themes change colors only, and everyone starts on the System font. Each option shows in its own design.
- History is simpler: the By day / Sessions switch and the plus button are gone. Entries are always grouped by day; add a past entry with the plus on Today.
- Fixed labels with rolling digits cutting off their last letter, such as "kaldı" in the money momentum card.
Requires macOS 14 or later; Apple Silicon and Intel. Open the DMG and drag Clockin into Applications. The app and DMG are Developer ID signed and notarized.

Clockin 2.0.29
- One timer counts once. When the same session was ended on both your Mac and your iPhone (the second device had not yet seen the first clock-out), both entries used to stay and the hours and earnings doubled. Now the first clock-out is the entry; the later one goes to Settings > iCloud > Sync changes, where you can still see it.
- The same rule applies to the first merge preview when you connect a new device.
Requires macOS 14 or later; Apple Silicon and Intel. Open the DMG and drag Clockin into Applications. The app and DMG are Developer ID signed and notarized.

Clockin for Mac 2.0.28
Clockin 2.0.28
- Clock out always ends the session, even when its start is ahead of this Mac's clock (started on an iPhone whose clock runs ahead, or after the clock was set back). Before, the button did nothing in that case.
- If a clock-out still cannot be saved, the reason is shown.
Requires macOS 14 or later; Apple Silicon and Intel. Open the DMG and drag Clockin into Applications. The app and DMG are Developer ID signed and notarized.

- Pulse: the button picker in Chrome accepts only real clicks, and a watcher left in an open tab stops sending presses after Remove or after you pick another site. Chrome reloads the extension from the app's copy; if Pulse still shows 1.3, open chrome://extensions and press Reload.
- Copy details in Menu bar settings no longer includes the menu bar text, which can show earnings.
- A sync error line no longer puts the record key in the system log.
Requires macOS 14 or later; Apple Silicon and Intel. Open the DMG and drag Clockin into Applications. The app and DMG are Developer ID signed and notarized.

- A timer log in Settings > General lists every clock-in, resume and clock-out with where it came from: the app, a keyboard shortcut, Pulse in Chrome, a link from another app, or another device through iCloud. Use it when the timer seems to start on its own.
- Links that open
clockin://clock-inorclockin://clock-outfrom another app or a web page now ask before changing the timer. Pulse keeps working without a question. - The global shortcuts can be turned off in Settings > General. ⌥⌘I is also Show Inspector in Finder and Web Inspector in Safari and Chrome; turn the shortcuts off if the timer starts when you press it there.
Requires macOS 14 or later; Apple Silicon and Intel. Open the DMG and drag Clockin into Applications. The app and DMG are Developer ID signed and notarized.

- Share milestone on the level-up card now shares the card itself as a picture: the crest with your new level, the companion on the stage, the rank and your hours of focus, in the rank's colours. Before, it shared the general stats summary.
- Choose a story (9:16) or a post (4:5), and whether the hours of focus show. The picture is shown large before you share or copy it.
Requires macOS 14 or later; Apple Silicon and Intel. Open the DMG and drag Clockin into Applications. The app and DMG are Developer ID signed and notarized.

- The Chrome extension is now called Pulse. Its bar while picking buttons and its "✓ Clock in" notice on the page show Pulse instead of Clockin.
- The extension's icon fills its space in Chrome's toolbar like other extensions' icons, instead of looking smaller.
- After updating: in chrome://extensions press the reload button on the extension (it then shows as Pulse). Your picked buttons stay.
Requires macOS 14 or later; Apple Silicon and Intel. Open the DMG and drag Clockin into Applications. The app and DMG are Developer ID signed and notarized.

Clockin 2.0.23
- When Clockin's menu bar icon doesn't show, Today and Settings > Menu bar have a new Test menu bar button. Clockin briefly adds two test icons and tells you what it found: the menu bar has no room left, or macOS doesn't take Clockin's icons into the menu bar at all, or only Clockin's own icon stays away (Clockin then remakes it like the test icon that worked).
- The notice no longer says the menu bar is full before anything has been tested.
- Copy details now includes the test, what macOS did with the icon after launch and before and after Reset position, other running copies of Clockin, and the copies macOS has on record.
Requires macOS 14 or later; Apple Silicon and Intel. Open the DMG and drag Clockin into Applications. The app and DMG are Developer ID signed and notarized.

- Opening Clockin straight from Downloads (or the Desktop) now always brings the "Move to Applications" question to the front, with Clockin in the Dock while it asks. Before, the question could stay hidden behind other windows or full-screen apps, and Clockin waited for it without showing its menu bar icon.
- A copy in Downloads asks every time until it is moved: "Don't ask again" is only offered for a folder you chose yourself, and an earlier "Don't ask again" no longer keeps a downloaded copy there.
- A downloaded copy is no longer mistaken for a development build when macOS keeps Downloads private, which also stopped the question from appearing.
- Copy details (Settings > Menu bar) now also says where Clockin runs from.
Requires macOS 14 or later; Apple Silicon and Intel. Open the DMG and drag Clockin into Applications. The app and DMG are Developer ID signed and notarized.

- The Chrome extension recognises your Clock out button even when the site moves it, for example when a notice appears above it or the Clock in button disappears. Before, a moved button could be missed or taken for the other one.
- While you pick your buttons, the Clockin hint is a small bar in a bottom corner. It moves to the other corner if a button sits under it, so it never covers Clock in.
- If a press on something labelled Clock in or Clock out does not count, the extension's popup says so and suggests picking the buttons again.
- After updating: in chrome://extensions press the reload button on Clockin. Picking your buttons once more is recommended, so the extension remembers more about them.
Requires macOS 14 or later; Apple Silicon and Intel. Open the DMG and drag Clockin into Applications. The app and DMG are Developer ID signed and notarized.
