MediaRuntime Node SDK 1.5.0

@ericel ericel released this 21 Sep 13:58

Local applications can now submit hosted, billable MediaRuntime jobs without sending callbacks to their account's production webhook.

  • Set deliverWebhook: false in jobs.create(); omission preserves normal delivery.
  • Read JobDetails.deliverWebhook when polling (undefined on older gateways).
  • Works with existing local-file uploads, batches, recipes, and polling helpers.
  • Billing, retention, email preferences, and account webhook settings are unchanged. Manual webhook retry cannot override the opt-out.
  • Updated OpenAPI snapshots and localhost development/retry guidance.

Install: npm install @mediaruntime/node@1.5.0

Validated: 93 SDK tests, TypeScript consumer checks, Node 22/24 CI, package audit, and npm trusted publishing. Requires the deployed gateway and Firebase webhook sender with per-job opt-out support.

MediaRuntime Node SDK 1.4.0

@ericel ericel released this 13 Sep 03:26

Adds typed clipping options, candidate-plan retrieval, source-timed caption reuse, and optional empty-result diagnostics. Older reports without an empty reason remain supported.

npm install @mediaruntime/node@1.4.0

Validation: 89 tests, TypeScript and consumer checks; local end-to-end jobs exercised the actual gateway and native worker, with caption timing and ZIP integrity verified.

Clipping requires a gateway/engine deployment exposing clip_candidates_v1 and video_clip_v1. Publishing these client packages does not deploy those server features. Manual rendering requires no Whisper model; analysis uses existing Whisper only when no transcript is supplied.

Maintainers: the new manual release guide covers all SDK and CLI releases.
