bigdata-php v1.2.0

Feature release: bilingual static project site, Cassandra paging/writes, Hudi 1.0 timelines, namespaced Hive Thrift classes, and real-service CI.

Highlights

  • Bilingual static site in site/ (Chinese index.html, English en.html):
    responsive mobile layout, project intro, feature iterations, version log,
    install/usage docs, searchable content, zoomable image lightbox, 12 pet
    expressions, textless pet back-to-top button, WeChat/Alipay donation QR modals,
    busuanzi counter, Three.js hero, 404 page, SEO metadata/sitemap/robots and
    social previews.
  • Separate Chinese/English diagrams: architecture, functional design, request
    lifecycle and lifecycle SVGs, with the site gallery and README using the right
    language set.
  • Cassandra: paging via pageSize/pagingState, prepared-statement column
    metadata, and a full CREATE/INSERT/UPDATE/DELETE/DROP integration test.
  • Hudi 1.0: timeline names {begin}_{completion}.{action} are supported.
  • Config aliases: base_url accepted by Airflow, Flink, DolphinScheduler and Oozie.
  • Hive: TCLIService classes now live under
    Erikwang2013\BigData\Driver\Hive\Thrift, removing the global namespace collision.
  • CI: Trino + Cassandra service-container integration workflow, Docker demo
    workflow, and a PHP 8.0 full unit-test lane.

Verification

  • Unit: 230 tests, 799 assertions (1 conditional skip).
  • Integration: 12 tests, 16 assertions (4 external-service skips).
  • Static site: audit OK, mobile UI test OK, first-byte benchmark median 0.52 ms,
    max 1.73 ms across 245 responses, all below 10 ms.
  • composer validate: valid.

composer require erikwang2013/bigdata-php:^1.2

Packagist is live. Until live, use a VCS repository:

Site

The static site is generated in site/ and is ready to serve at
https://package.erik.xyz/bigdata/; deployment to the host is not automated here.

Known limitations

  • Framework boot smoke CI was not completed; Manager/adapter tests pass, but real
    Laravel/ThinkPHP/Webman/Hyperf/Yii2/Yii3 bootstraps remain a follow-up.
  • Local Docker registry pulls were blocked; the integration workflow runs the
    real-service jobs on GitHub Actions.
  • Lakehouse drivers are metadata-only; Hive Kerberos/GSSAPI and binary TLS remain
    out of scope.
