random(howbig)andrandom(howsmall, howbig)functions will return values from HW PRNG.randomSeedis called, these functions will switch back to software PRNG to maintain compatibility with standard Arduino behaviour.secureRandom(howbig)andsecureRandom(howsmall, howbig)— these always return values from HW PRNG and don't depend onrandomSeedcalls.
