Still image is outdated...

When calling route /capture?_cb=timestamp, ESP32-CAM always return outdated image, say 2 minutes ago. However, if I use the built-in GUI and turn stream on, it showing the most updated capture. Is it a bug? Or how can I get most updated still image? Thank you~

If the image does not change on reload every time, it is your browser that is caching the image.

It is not a cache problem. The API return buffered images.

The _cb in /capture?_cb is timestamp and change every second, so cache is not the case. And the API return similar picture but not the same, that's why I said buffered images.

you can try setting this option to .grab_mode = CAMERA_GRAB_LATEST
