Hello,

Can you please look into this bug report: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=901967. It's related to your add-on and changes that were introduced in Firefox 23.

Thanks!

A tricky one.
So some people have "default search without shortcuts" disabled and were using firefox default.
Now firefox default have changed and since we hide the searchbar they can't change it back to google easily
we need make things more discoverable, but i am not sure how we can do that

Maybe make default search bigger now it is hard to see especially when disabled
Show some kind of notice in urlbar when it's disabled
Show additional popup with list of available search engines
And also we need to make rearranging of search engines in context menu more discoverable or add options panel for it.

i must confess, i am not sure if i got the bug right.
I can't reproduce #93

Now firefox default have changed and since we hide the searchbar they can't change it back to google easily

Can we switch on "the default search without shortcuts" setting only if Google is already the default search provider?
Othervise the user must take action?

Maybe make default search bigger now it is hard to see especially when disabled

Makes sense + add an icon which catchs more attention:

And also we need to make rearranging of search engines in context menu more discoverable or add options panel for it.

imho no must have feature ;)

this may be silly, but i swear the default search was bing (as it was before Instantfox was installed) but now all of a sudden it is using google instead. i really hope i haven't overlooked a setting to switch it back. REALLY love the addon though. any suggestions?
