This is a coverage only follow-up to tests@v21.0.0, released after the successful Glamsterdam upgrade on Sepolia on 6 October 2026. It contains no spec changes and is built from 1562e2f.

Key Updates

  • Amsterdam coverage: a net increase of 81 unique parameterised test cases compared with tests@v21.0.0 (about 1.7%). All new and extended tests are listed below.
  • SELFDESTRUCT: CREATE nonce rollback when a self-destructed contract is re-invoked and the re-invoked frame reverts, surfaced by cross-client differential testing (#3705, #3717), and EIP-8246 priority fees credited to a coinbase that is created and self-destructed in the same transaction (#3678).
  • EIP-8037: exact accept and reject pair at the intrinsic execution gas cap (#3709), plus partial-reservoir new-account charges, precompile OOG after a reservoir spill and value transfers to a coinbase or dead account (#3673, #3678).
  • EIP-7928: BAL parallel-execution tests across transactions in a block (#3670), SYSTEM_ADDRESS accessed via delegation and withdrawal (#3681), and same-index nonce and code changes (#3654).
  • EIP-2780: preparation halt after repeated and self-sponsored authorizations (#3671).
  • EIP-7708 and EIP-8024: precompile value-transfer logs, delegated senders and immediates reached via a taken JUMPI (#3678).
  • Invalid-block fixtures now carry exactly one defect each (#3698).
