Acknowledgments

Please check the following boxes with an x if they apply:

  • I have read the latest version of the contribution guide before creating this pull request.
  • I have checked a few other issues labeled Feature request to see how they are written.
  • The feature I want to propose would be useful for the majority of users, not only for me personally.
  • I am aware that EventFahrplan is mostly developed by one person in their unpaid spare time.
  • I can help myself to get this feature implemented or know someone who wants to do it.

Preliminaries

Current state

Target state

besides the day 1/2/3/4 selection there could be a "track" selection (security, science, ...) in the dropdown menu and when selected swiping to the side could switch the track instead of the room. Sorting within a track could be either in chronological (without empty spaces) or in lexicographic order.

Thank you for reporting this issue. I like to merge this idea with issue #3 because the tracks view could be implemented with a generic filter function. Please join the planning conversation in the referenced issue. I am closing this as a duplicate.
