• Installed with npx skills add (Cursor, Codex, OpenCode…)? The skill now tells you when a newer version is out: one line with the update command at the top of its reply, at most once a day. It never installs on its own.
• Turn it off with EVONDEVKIT_NO_UPDATE_CHECK=1. Claude Code plugin installs are unchanged (the marketplace handles updates).
• Versions 0.3.26 and older don't have the check yet: run npx skills update once to get it.
