HtmlEditor's focus() method does not work on Internet Explorer

Sencha Thread: Ext.form.field.HtmlEditor.focus() does not work

The Ext.Net.HtmlEditor.Focus() method (Ext.form.field.HtmlEditor.focus()) does not work on Internet Explorer 11. It works fine on Chrome 52.
