Released 2026-10-27. On Maven Central as dev.resilience4cata:*:0.7.0 (installation, documentation).

Added

  • locked = true on @Retry, @Hedge, @CircuitBreaker, @RateLimiter, @AdaptiveLimit, @Timeout and @Bulkhead (and Pipeline.Builder.locked()): the values the annotation sets win over per-instance overrides (instances.<id>.*, retryInstance(...) and friends); attributes it leaves unset stay overridable. An ignored override is logged when the instance is created, listed by the new registry.lockedOverrides() (LockedOverride), and reported key by key by config.verifyInstances(registry) with the new code R4C-CFG-014, so the Spring, Micronaut and Quarkus integrations report it at startup. Generated code changes only for annotations with locked = true. See Locking an instance.
  • The build checks the public API of every published module against the last release (./gradlew apiCompatibility, part of check), with japicmp.
