Description

I am editing a beach, and it has too many nodes as I correct the shape, so I try to drag one node onto another to merge them, which in previous RapiD editor works to merge them. In my case, now the nodes disappear in drag mode so I cannot see exactly where I drag to and they do not snap-merge to each other when I release the drag.

Version

alpha3

What browser are you seeing the problem on? What version are you running?

Chrome 108

Steps to reproduce

Select a node on the beach away from the ocean near the houses, and click and drag it onto another node

Okay, this was fixed indirectly by #664!

I am pleased to report that you can once again collapse nodes into each other to make them disappear:
