`xml:base` not handled properly in atom-feeds

It looks like xml:base is not handled properly in atom-feeds, for example https://www.tbray.org/ongoing/ongoing.atom where each entry has an xml:base, but the link for the entry https://www.tbray.org/ongoing/When/201x/2013/05/06/Tab-Sweep-World in the feedbin UI is https://www.tbray.org/ongoing/Tab-Sweep-World.

Yeah, would love to fix this. This is the only feed I've seen that actually uses atom in this way and I can't help but think that's related to Bray's intimate familiarity with XML.

I could definitely use some help though as I'm primarily focused on higher level Feedbin features for now.

Feedbin uses Feedzirra for XML parsing so a pull request there would make it into Feedbin as well as help anybody else using Feedzirra.

Hopefully feedjira/feedjira#166 will be accepted.

@pgib This is great. Feedbin uses a fork of Feedzirra so this does not need to be accepted upstream to be useful for Feedbin.

I'll test it out this week and will update here once it's in production.

If you're interested there's another issue with tbray.org and similar feeds.

@benubois Ha! So, it turns out that it's actually because of #120 that I had to click through to the article's URL in Tim Bray's blog which led me to happen upon a broken link. I thought it was an issue with his feed, a notion he promptly set straight. He has since endorsed my PR.

I only tolerate XML at the best of times, so I'm not sure how keen I am to take on #110, but I'll put it on my list of things to look at when I have some downtime or when the symptom annoys me to the point of activating my inner OCD.

+1 - the "doing things that dont scale" link on this page - http://37signals.com/svn/posts/3589-why-were-doing-things-that-dont-scale

seems to be a relative url - as it points at feedbin.me when I access it via the feedbin.me site.

The link also seems invalid via reeder app - not sure if the proposed fix would help with that...

@kimptoc this is unrelated. xml:base is pretty uncommon and only used for the link to the original entry. It looks like the SVN post just had a broken link when it was imported into Feedbin
