Highlights

  • Coming back to the PWA mid-turn just works. Returning to a session that was running no longer crashes the page, blanks the model / context / thinking level, or drops your message. While the connection recovers, the session stays on screen as it was; a message you send waits and goes out once the session is back. A visible page retries the connection within 2 seconds of the network returning.
  • Queued messages live in the status capsule. While a turn runs, sending simply queues the message — no more floating steer / queue buttons. The capsule shows "Pending N"; open it to steer a message now or pull them back into the input. Queued messages enter the transcript only when the agent takes them.
  • A calmer status capsule. Todos lead; agents are counted by state (running / done / failed). Open it for todos folded to done · now · next three, running agents with their type, model and run time, and the five most recently ended agents with when they ended.
  • codemode shows each tool's own output. Opening one nested call shows its own input and output (redacted, capped at 4,000 characters, never sent to the model); the shared script output appears once on the batch.

Changes

  • Tool call details read as verb + object ("Summarize today's progress", "Create a session in "pix"").
  • Extension notices are a fixed one-line note that fades after 4 seconds; the bell next to it holds the full history with clickable links.
  • Durations read in two units ("3 min 12 s", "1 h 5 min").

Fixed

  • React's nested-update crash (#185) when a burst of journal events replayed after a reconnect: per-session updates now reach the UI at most a couple of times per frame.
  • A steer / follow-up sent while the connection was down failed at once; it now waits up to 20 s for the session to come back (and reports a diagnostic if it does not).
  • pix start refuses a runtime directory that is a file before spawning a daemon (previously a raw ENOTDIR or a daemon that exited immediately).
  • Windows (preview): paths compare correctly across 8.3 short names, test daemons listen on the named pipe, and CRLF checkouts are handled.
