v0.3.7 — MCP, notifications, ⌘K search, live model picker
Highlights
- MCP servers. Settings → MCP lists, adds, edits, enables/disables, and removes the MCP servers in Pi's global
mcp.json. You can fill a form (local command or remote URL) or paste JSON. Test connection shows the server's tools. Secret env/header values are write-only. In sessions, MCP tool calls get their own rows labelled with the server name. - System notifications (Web Push). Settings → Notifications turns on push notifications for this device: you get one when a session finishes, errors, or waits for your answer, and none while a Pix window is visible. Needs HTTPS; on iOS, add Pix to the Home Screen first.
- ⌘K session search. ⌘K / Ctrl+K (or the sidebar magnifier) opens a search panel over all sessions. It matches titles, project names, and first messages, highlights the hits, and works from the keyboard. Replaces the inline sidebar filter.
- Pull models and fill parameters. "Pull model list" on a provider fetches its
/models(with Anthropic/Google pagination) and fills context window, max output, image input, and reasoning from models.dev. Models you already have are marked "Added". Existing models can be filled from models.dev with one click. - Model picker follows config live. Changes to
models.json/settings.jsonshow up without restarting Pix, and the picker refetches each time it opens. Each model has a "Show in picker" switch backed byenabledModels. New models are shown by default; deleted models are removed from the list.
Fixes
- Opening Settings no longer crashes on browsers that are strict about
matchMedia. - Untitled sessions in search and notifications use their first message as the name.
Upgrade note
0.3.7 adds web-push.json to the host state directory. Before rolling back to an older version, delete that file, or the older host refuses to start.
