What problem would this solve?

Currently you can set discharge timeslots. When using dynamic prices, you have to figure out yourself what period is most economical.

Proposed solution

It would be great if Omnibattery could determine the discharge time, based on SOC, predicted energy consumption and energy prices.

Example use case

This would be very useful when the capacity of the battery and solar are not sufficient to cover for all energy consumption.

Implemented in v1.5.0 as the opt-in Price-aware discharge reserve (Dynamic Pricing): it projects the learned consumption minus expected PV onto the remaining price curve and holds back energy for the dearer hours, through to the next sunrise. Its status sensor lists the reserve and each claiming slot. Thanks @guussprokkereef.
