[HELP] Zendure system soc #438

Not a sensor mapping problem — nothing to fix in System SOC is a capacity-weighted average, and the Zendure driver gets no nominal capacity from the device (the Fix it now: Settings → Devices & Services → Omnibattery → Configure → your battery → set Battery capacity (kWh) to your total pack capacity (e.g. 2× AB2000 = 3.84 kWh). Worth doing regardless of the chart: that capacity also feeds cycle counting, predictive charging and the pricing math, all of which quietly degrade at 0. Fixed in the code for the next release (0fcd856): the capacity field is now required for Zendure, as it already was for Sessy, and the system SOC falls back to the plain mean of the per-battery SOCs when no capacity is known — so existing entries stored with 0 recover without a reconfigure. Thanks for the report. |

Thank you for the quick reply. All is clear now. Actually I had filled in the battery capacity in the config section right after posting here and I can see now that it is already working as expected. Wonderful integration, really awesome. Thank you. |

Just one more question related to system soc, I set a time slot for the off-peak hours, where the battery only charges, but the lowest maximum soc I can set is 80%. I needed a lower maximum soc, so that the battery only charges enough to support the house consumption in the early morning hours (50% or 60% would be enough), before the solar panels start producing. At 80% soc the battery has too much charge and will not be able to store all excess energy produced by the panels. Why can't we set a maximum soc below 80%? |
Uh oh!

What are you trying to do?
I am trying to get system soc values and soc chart on dashboard.
What is happening instead?
System soc chart is not dispaying correctly in the dashboard and sensor.omnibattery_system_soc shows as "unknown", despite sensor.zendure_solarflow_1_battery_soc showing correct values and coherent history.
Your setup
Omnibattery version: 1.3.0
Home Assistant version: Home Assistant OS, Core 2026.9.1
Battery brand and exact model: Zendure Solarflow 2400 AC+
Battery firmware version: v2.0.2
Connection method or adapter:
What have you already tried?
I tied cheking the sensor mapping on sensor.py, but I was afraid to mess it up.
