I prepared a small synchronous draft-edit example using python-statemachine. Three traces check guard rejection and recovery, cancel preserving the committed value, and an event rejected in the wrong state. A JSON trace carries both the operation and the expected state after each step.
Draft/commit semantics belong to the original fixture callbacks. Async, SCXML and diagrams are outside its scope.
Adapter · three traces · setup and scope · external PR #14.
Python 3.12, python-statemachine 3.2.2; 3 traces / 14 steps. Linux, Windows and macOS CI.
The JSON runner is my external interaction-check project. Upstream would gain no runtime dependency. Would a link to this external workflow example be useful for users sharing reproductions?
