Improvements

  • S3: temporary AWS credentials now work. Supply the session token with --session-token, or in the FT_S3_SESSION_TOKEN variable.
  • S3: when no keys are given, ft reads the standard AWS_ACCESS_KEY_ID, AWS_SECRET_ACCESS_KEY and AWS_SESSION_TOKEN variables. Without --endpoint, it also takes the region from AWS_REGION or AWS_DEFAULT_REGION.
  • S3: credentials that may not delete objects now work. ft empties its files instead of deleting them. If either end lacks delete permission, both ends need v3.5.6 or later.
