Description
Description
Dragging a file attachment from a Microsoft Outlook email window into a Files window/tab doesn't work correctly.
Note: While dragging, I do see the attachment document icon with Copy to FolderName below it. However after releasing the mouse button, nothing happens.
Interestingly, if a file with the same name exists in the target directory, Files does display the Conflicting file name(s) dialog box, asking whether to generate a new name, replace the existing file(s), or skip.
So apparently, Files does recognize the drag operation, but when it comes time to actually copy the files, it fails silently.
Steps To Reproduce
- Open a Microsoft Outlook email with attachments.
- Drag one of the attachments from the Outlook window into a Files window for an empty directory.
Alternatively:
- Open a Microsoft Outlook email with attachments.
- Drag one of the attachments from the Outlook window into a Files window for a directory that contains a file with the same name as the attachment.
Requirements
I expect Files to copy the dragged attachment from Outlook into the current directory.
