Bug: Preview pane shows "No item selected" when selecting a folder from sidebar

Description

When opening Files, whether it’s the first time or not, clicking on a folder (for example from the sidebar) does not update the preview pane. Instead of showing the folder details, the preview pane incorrectly displays the message "No item selected".

Steps To Reproduce

1. Open Files
2. Enable column layout
3. Go to home page
4. In the sidebar, click on any folder or directory
5. Observe the preview pane

Is this only an issue with Columns View, and does this also occur in Files v3.9.1?

Yes, sorry, I forgot to mention it, but this issue only occurs in the column layout. This issue is also reproducible in version 3.9.1.0.
