Bug: In a git repository there is an authentication prompt for every dir that is traversed

Description

When I enter a specific git repository, for every cd I do in that repo, an authentication prompt from the Terminal will show up:

Dismissing the prompt caused crashes (see #17588), but it's not 100% reproducible.

Steps To Reproduce

1. Enter a git directory that was cloned via SSH
2. For every directory traversed, get an authentication prompt

Nothing relevant is in the logfile, only "Information" type entries about added drives and cloud providers that I don't want to share publicly.

@yaira2 May I kindly request to release the next stable version sooner rather than later? This issue makes it really hard to use the Microsoft Store version of the app since it cannot be downgraded.

We're currently working on a patch for v4 to be released within the next week or two. If it helps, you can already get this fix by using the preview version.

That's great! Cause I don't even use the system ssh, I use the ssh-agent installed by git.
