When attempting to open Files 4.0 on Windows 10, the application closes immediately. This occurs with the paid stable version. The issue appears to be related to the ntdll.dll module.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tested the preview version, but the issue persists. Files 4.0 still closes immediately on Windows 11 (build 26100.6584) without showing the interface.

Event Viewer shows the same error related to ntdll.dll (Event ID 1000).

Let me know if you need any additional logs or details.

• Can you confirm what version of Windows you are using as you have put 10 and 11. You can get it in Files Settings > About > Copy > Windows version
• What shell extensions do you have in Windows File Explorer context menu > Show more

Yes, great, it's fixed. I also think it was causing compatibility issues with another app, Tagging for Windows.
