Bug: No access to Virtualbox Shared Folders #17616

@manfredu

Description

@manfredu

Description

  1. The networks paths below VBOXSVR are not shown.
  2. When the path is mapped to a drive letter this is properly displayed like with the Windows Explorer. But cklicking on this link does not open the drive but instead an error window is shown: Network folder error ERROR_NETNAME_DELETED. The same error appears when entering the drive manually.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Create a vm with virtualbox with a shared folder with automatic mapping.
  2. Start the vm.
  3. Open files and click on VBOXSRV on the left. Nothing happens.
  4. Open windows explorer and do the same. Here the network path is displayed.
  5. Connect the path to a drive letter.
  6. Open the drive. It works.
  7. Try to open the drive with files. This results in the ERROR_NETNAME_DELETED message and the content is not displayed.
