Bug: Mounted network shares vanish after system restart #17721

@BenLaneUK2004

Description

@BenLaneUK2004

Description

After a system restart, any mounted SMB network shares do not appear in the network shares list or the sidebar. However going to map network drive shows that the mount already exists on the previously assigned drive letter. Selecting that drive letter and setting a folder path that isn't identical to the previous one shows a warning about a remembered connection.

Steps To Reproduce

  1. Open Files
  2. Go to Home
  3. Observe the absence of networks shares that were previously mounted
  4. Click the 3-dots and then Map network drive
  5. Click the Drive: dropdown
  6. Observe the previously mounted share on the drive letter
