First release. File-based issue tracker for AI agents and humans.

  • Tasks and sprints are folders; the parent folder is the status; Markdown is the database
  • CLI with --json for agents, MCP server (aiboard mcp) for Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and others
  • Editable web board (aiboard serve) for humans
  • Task dependencies, sprints with progress, consistency checker, cross-process write lock
  • Zero dependencies, Python 3.9+

Install: pipx install git+https://github.com/flashist/aiboard.git
