CSS Injection Through Color Values: A text color or highlight color carrying extra CSS declarations (e.g. red; position: fixed; inset: 0) reached the inline style of the rendered marks, from HTML or JSON content, pasted HTML, or setColor / setHighlight called with untrusted values, and was re-emitted by getHTML(). Tiptap fixed it in 3.31.4 by rejecting style values containing ;, { or }, and the library now requires that version (see below). Regression tests cover HTML, JSON and command inputs. (#85)
Changed
Tiptap 3.31.4 or Later Required: Every @tiptap/* peer dependency now requires ^3.31.4 (previously ^3.0.0), so apps cannot install the library with a Tiptap version vulnerable to the CSS injection above. Apps that pin an older Tiptap 3 must update it: npm 7+ refuses the install until then, pnpm and yarn warn. It stays within Tiptap 3, so no other change is needed. (#85)
