Fixed

  • A search text field with a trailing icon of its own (such as a clear button) no longer also shows the browser's clear button (#69).
    WebKit and Blink draw ::-webkit-search-cancel-button into every type="search" input — a
    user-agent shadow part appearance: none on the input does not remove — so a field with a
    trailing icon showed two clears side by side at the input's end. A search field with a trailing
    icon now hides the browser's button; a search field without one keeps it, its only clear
    affordance.
