Bug Fixes

• proxy: isolate maintenance test listeners on loopback (d1404df)

  Backport explicit interface binding while preserving existing public startup defaults and lifecycle ownership. Bind local test servers directly to ephemeral loopback ports so wildcard address sharing, fixed ports, and released port reservations cannot direct requests to another local service.

• tracking: wake reassigned waiters after reservation release (d3347f3)

  Notify waiting peers when a tracker releases an active range so concurrent startup does not defer available work until another update or poll deadline. Retain exclusive claims and avoid rescanning peers whose effective assignment is unchanged.

• serialization: restore constant-specific enum round trips (2e8606b)

  Use the declaring enum type and revision when Jackson cannot read a constant-specific subclass. Accept historical subclass envelopes after aliases and upcasters while preserving working custom subtype, key and container codecs.

• configuration: initialize the default task scheduler on demand (46a1d3d)

  Backport the existing active-major correction so builders whose scheduler is replaced do not abandon a polling thread. Preserve selected scheduler identity and application shutdown ownership.

Tests

• web: correlate socket replies with their own requests (05ab134)

  Capture the request sent by each fixture so concurrent socket allocations cannot redirect its reply. Preserve the success and failure scenarios with an intervening unrelated request.

• tracking: assert cached read completion against its deadline (268ee46)

  The test thread may resume after the request deadline. Measure completion instead of assuming a sleep resumes inside the wait window, retaining the request deadline and result assertions.
