Fixed

  • The publish workflow installs the way CI does. 0.38.1 was tagged but
    never published: the publish job's npm install crashed on npm 10
    (edgesOut of null). publish.yml now uses the same pinned installer as
    ci.yml and builds before it tests. 0.38.2 carries exactly the 0.38.1
    changes below.
