Added

Routes brought over from the Go SDK (v0.8.0 to v0.8.2), all unpublished. Network Maps were already in 0.1.27.

  • client.predict_reference (list_predict_oses, get_predict_os_allowed_commands), client.change_set_checks
    (update_change_set_check, list_change_set_nqe_checks) and client.protocol_modeling
(get_protocol_modeling_status, list_predict_affected_devices: which devices Forward modelled for a
predicted snapshot). Protocol-modeling status needs the network administrator role.
  • client.performance_collection: the collector's upload (upload_performance_data, raw protobuf bytes), device
list and raw SNMP read, plus synthetic data generation. Performance reads join client.performance_metrics:
default thresholds, device and interface health, devices with data. get_performance_settings joins
client.collection_settings. The upload needs a collector credential and has not been tried against a live
    Forward.
  • client.device_interfaces, client.device_diffs and client.bgp_prefixes (installed prefixes, search, trace,
details, and a device's view of a prefix).
  • client.threat_exposure and client.edge_assets. Source-only: the live account used for checks does not serve them.
  • client.nqe_explain: the plan Forward builds for a saved query or a query at a path. Internal routes.
  • client.collection_sources gains patch_controller_device and patch_managed_device; client.predict_assist
    gains assist_failure_diff_summary.
  • A request body declared application/octet-stream is now sent as the bytes themselves. Anything that is not
bytes raises TypeError before a request is made.

Already covered and not duplicated: the head and committed-query listings are client.nqe.repo.queries; the
generic endpoint-profile PATCH is the CLI, SNMP and HTTP profile updates; clearing an org property is
clear_org_scoped_config_value.

Not brought over, on purpose: sign-in, SAML, CSRF and impersonation routes.

Changed

  • Examples and descriptions in the unpublished spec, and so in the generated models and docstrings, no longer name
the account, hostnames, users or ids they were first recorded from. Shapes are unchanged.
