• Lifecycle hooks around an adapter's calls: withHooks(adapter, hooks) on any adapter, and createDatabase({ hooks }).
  • The StorageHooks the package exported now run: onBeforeQuery, onAfterQuery, onBeforeWrite, onAfterWrite, onBeforeTransaction, onAfterTransaction and onError.
  • A before hook returning undefined stops the call, as combineHooks already read it.
  • The statements inside a transaction pass through the hooks too.
  • The adapter keeps its kind, its own methods and its class.
  • The performance tiers stay types for a host to apply.
