• The Electron auto-migrator records the version Electron's app reports beside each migration it runs. With no getAppVersion of the caller's, it asked Electron through require('electron'), which the package's ES module build does not have, so it recorded the working directory's package.json version, or 0.0.0, in an Electron app too. It asks through createRequire(import.meta.url) now, which both builds have. A spec stands in for Electron's app and checks the version recorded with it and without it.
