[Feature] More Monitor Context Options for Rules #1145

Sounds good and easy enough! |

This is in #1165 and will ship in the next release. Rules get three new conditions under Context: Screen width, Screen height and Aspect ratio. Width and height are the resolution your display settings show. Aspect ratio picks the nearest common ratio, so your monitor reads as 32:9 at full width and 16:9 in the KVM split mode. To give the split mode its own layout:
When the KVM switches the monitor back to full width, the rule stops matching and the normal layout returns on its own. If you'd rather match the exact resolution, use Screen width less than 5120 instead of the aspect ratio. |

Added in 3.5.4 (#1165). Rules have Screen width, Screen height and Aspect ratio conditions, so each resolution of a monitor can get its own layout or tiling algorithm. Closing this, but reply here if something is missing on 3.5.4. |

Description
Great Project and I use it daily to manage my 49" 32:9 monitor. When setting up Layouts you only get to match to the monitor itself. This works for most setups, but I also do Home Office and sometimes use my monitor in a splitscreen KVM-Mode with my Macbook from work.
Problem it Solves
Fedora KDE exposed the Monitor as the same screen, regardless of the current resolution it is running at. Adding an additional context to filter with would solve this issue:
This way you could assign a layout per Monitor per resolution/ratio it is currently operation in.
Alternatives Considered
Maybe I could hack something together that exposes the monitor as a differnet device when in KVM mode but that seems much more brittle.
