Features

  • ButtonWithIcon: Added an opt-in isFullWidth prop. Without it the button stays as wide as its content, as before. With it the button fills the width its parent gives it, the icon and divider stay in place, and the label sits against the divider, with the extra space at the end furthest from the icon. View in Storybook PR #721
  • ButtonsStack: Icon buttons in a stack now fill the stack's width, so any mix of Button and ButtonWithIcon gets equal widths with the icons lined up in one column. View in Storybook
  • TabWithIcon / TabsWithIconBar: Added onClick support to TabWithIcon and MobileTab, and TabsWithIconBar now forwards an onClick written in a tabList entry, so a page can learn which tab was picked for routing or analytics. ITabWithIcon is now exported from the package. View in Storybook PR #711

Fixes

  • TabWithIcon / MobileTab: Fixed a caller's onClick being silently replaced by the tab's own click handler.
  • ButtonsStack: Fixed duplicate React keys when more than one button in the stack had no id.

Dependencies

  • Node (contributors only): The contributor toolchain and CI runners are now pinned to Node 24.22.1 (October 2026 Node.js security release). Run nvm install after pulling. The published package's engines range is unchanged, so consumer projects are not affected.
  • Quarterly dependency update (2026Q4): Refreshed dev and build dependencies, including styled-components 6.6.0 in the kit's own toolchain. Peer dependency ranges are unchanged.

Deprecated Features and Breaking Changes

  • ButtonsStack: The default button size is now normal (32px) instead of small (24px). Stacks that do not set size on their entries render taller and wider than before. To keep the previous look, set size: 'small' on each entry.
  • ButtonsStack: Icon buttons in a stack now always fill the stack's width and their labels sit beside the divider instead of being centred. There is no option to turn this off, since equal widths are the purpose of the stack.
