AgentShare v0.3.0 — local browser transcript review

AgentShare v0.3.0 adds a browser tool for reviewing your own Claude Code or Codex JSONL transcript, so you can try the workflow without installing Python or cloning the repository.

What you can do

• Choose a local UTF-8 JSONL file; parsing and processing run in the browser without uploading its contents.
• Apply replacements for common credential, email and home-path patterns, plus your own case-sensitive literal terms. Tool input and output bodies are omitted.
• Inspect and edit the candidate messages, then select the ones to include. Nothing is selected by default.
• Download selected HTML or Markdown. Save the browser tool itself as one HTML file for offline use.

The Python CLI, portable skill and function-tool declarations remain available for local automation. The Python wheel and portable skill in this release report version 0.3.0; the browser tool is a separate HTML asset and hosted page.

The agentshare name on PyPI belongs to an unrelated project. Use this repository's release wheel or source instructions rather than pip install agentshare.

Scope and review requirements

The browser tool accepts files up to 20 MiB, visible messages up to 100,000 Unicode code points, and at most 5,000 review candidates. It supports the documented Claude Code and Codex JSONL shapes, not arbitrary chat exports or ChatGPT ZIP files. Unknown records, reasoning, images and metadata are omitted. Browser format support can lag upstream changes.

Automatic replacements cannot find every secret or confidential detail. Keep the initial candidate review private, inspect every selected message, and review the final export before sharing. Local processing does not make downloaded output safe to publish automatically.

v0.2.0 — Portable skill and multi-provider tool declarations

AgentShare can now be installed as a portable Agent Skill or registered as a function tool in a model API application. The local review workflow still starts with no messages selected and requires deliberate editing, selection and inspection before sharing.

• share-ai-transcripts bundles its Python implementation and HTML template. No repository checkout, pip install or network is needed after skill installation.
• agentshare.agent_tools exports declarations for OpenAI Responses, DeepSeek Chat Completions, Claude Messages and Gemini Interactions, with a validated local dispatcher that returns review metadata rather than transcript text.
• English/Chinese READMEs now lead with a concrete use case, actual screenshot and working demo. The integration guide explains installation, registration and discovery limits.
• 39 local tests pass; portable skill isolation, source synchronization and protected-input behavior were checked. Provider declaration shapes follow official documentation; live model calls and automatic selection rates were not tested.

Requires Python 3.10+. Use the wheel for Python/CLI integrations, or extract the complete portable skill folder into your application's supported skill location. The optional Skills CLI needs Node.js:

AgentShare v0.1.0

Sharing an AI coding failure often means sharing paths, credentials and tool bodies too. AgentShare creates an offline review page so you can replace identifiers, edit messages and export only the evidence you choose.

This first release includes Claude/Codex JSONL adapters, omitted tool inputs/outputs, rule-based replacements, initially empty selection, editable messages and selected-only HTML/Markdown exports. Automated redaction is incomplete: inspect the final selected text before sharing. The original transcript is not attached to the exported document.

Downloads:

• agentshare-demo.html: standalone review of invented demo data; open it in a browser without installing Python.
• agentshare-0.1.0-py3-none-any.whl: Python package; install with python -m pip install PATH_TO_WHEEL.

Validation: 25 regression tests; Windows and Linux, Python 3.10/3.12/3.14; browser selection/edit/download smoke check; fresh source checkout and packaged-template check.
